You Need Some Bacon Love: My Top 5 Reasons to Love Macon Bacon

You Need Some Bacon Love: My Top 5 Reasons to Love Macon Bacon

There’s been a whole lotta hate for our new baseball team’s name. So we’re going to jump out of the frying pan and into the fire for this one and give you our top 5 reasons to love Macon Bacon.

1- Can’t call it the Whoopie
Look, Macon already lends itself to some awesome puns. We all loved the Whoopie, but that’s a classic that can’t come back. So that also rules out the Macon Love- which was just too obvious. All the other suggestions were just lame.

2- It’s better than health food!
If you’re choosing between a dancing banana and a heavy hitting slab of bacon, what are you going to choose?! That’s right. Bacon. Every damn time.

3- Kitchen Inspiration
It’s also a good reminder to save some money for your baseball tickets by getting in the kitchen and cooking dinner! (But not on baseball nights- we think you should go out on the town on those nights, or even splurge for the season package that includes dinner!)

4- Great for tourism
People are in town for a conference or whatever. Why wouldn’t you go to a Bacon game?!

5- Bacon faceoff
It also will inspire many debates as to who has the best bacon featured dish in town. Biscuits, Burgers, & More? Dovetail’s bacon jam?

And a bonus #6- Festival opportunity
There could even be a whole Bacon-made festival! Kind of like Macon Made, but with Bacon.
So we’re going to close this out with a heaping serving of bacon- it just makes sense.

And be sure to go to our website- our “Go Whole Hog” 4 oz tin candles are half off to celebrate!! Use the code MACONBACON.

Love to all y’all,
