Blighted Beauties- A Photography Walk

I had the chance to go on the Blighted Beauties walking tour of downtown Macon, led by David Moore of NewTown Macon.

This free event was a cool way to see parts of downtown that we pass all the time, but perhaps don’t pause to take a close look at.

 

It was also supported by Jane’s Walk- a series of neighborhood walking tours.

It’s a great reminder that we have some beautiful and interesting buildings here, as well as how far those that have been renovated have come.

More than one spot along our tour is one that I remember from doing various photo shoots before their renovations, and I just have to wonder about the hidden glory awaiting many others.
