What Did I Wear to the White Party? Check It Out Here!

Again, I do really like getting all dressed up and going out…

This being said, want to see the dress I choose? It’s another funny story. I actually bought this dress not thinking of it as a dress but more like a really long top of some kind. I’ve only worn it once before and it was with jeggings underneath. I brought it over to David’s house more to show him that it would be cute if I could find some kind of white pant underneath it and he convinced me it would work alone. Actually, the way it went was this:

D: ” Yes you can wear that as a dress.”

Me: “Bullshit I’ll show you I can’t” ….. ” Oh, wait, I forgot I lost some weight since I last wore this… maybe I can?”

Then it was pointed out to me that because this dress, or whatever you want to call it, has a bubble skirt and the hem turns inward, there wasn’t a chance of it flaring up as I danced. That of course was my main concern- I needed to be able to dance. And of course (God I hate to say this) David was right. The dress worked with no wardrobe malfunctions. It is actually a sample outfit from Tibi, I got it at the outlet on St. Simons Island. The earrings are by Diana Warner and the necklace is a gold pearl concoction that I actually bought from a friend of a friend (I believe at Lindsay Timms’ house some years ago). The purse is from Coach, last year. The shoes are the Josette pump by Jessica Simpson and purchased at Dillard’s here in Macon. I LOVE THESE SHOES!!! I have three pairs in pink, yes three in the same color, a pair in black, silver, and these I got in pearl white. I love em.

Oh and my makeup I bought on advice from Jenny at M.A.C.- a heavy black liquid liner, some white glitter (left over from my DEA days- remember that nightclub?), a lavendar pigment and a strong pink lip: lipstick mixed with three different glosses. Love.

I have to say, I also did pick out David’s outfit for him. I got it at Dillard’s as well. 😉 Proof that I can dress a man as well as myself.

Well ladies and gents, it’s time for me to go. I have another event tonight to get ready for…

Love yall! Oh and- see pics below 😉
