Southern Sunday Funday: #CreateTheCool & Repurposing Fashion

Ah……. Sunday Funday, the last day of the way too short weekend right before the dredge of a Monday. What to do?!

You already some of the #CreateTheCool events- but you can bring it back by streaming DJ Shawty Slim’s #CreateTheCool mix. Listen while heading to church, while cleaning, cooking out or just jamming out today.

What else is there to do today? You could check out the Spring Spirit Stroll at Riverside Cemetery. It lasts from 6:00 – 7:00 p.m.

It’s a nice time to learn about some Macon history and enjoy the lovely day as well.

There’s also the Mulberry Street Arts Festival, presented by the Middle Georgia Arts Association.

Live in Athens? Check out The Repurposing Project at the Georgia Theatre, via My Athens- quote from Visit Athens Georgia:

“April 3rd at the Georgia Theatre, My Athens, and Olives and Wax Vintage present a fashion show unlike anything else in town: The Repurposing Project. We give two dozen local designers a bag of old clothes. They have 3 weeks to turn it into something new. We’re taking entries for designers now.”
