Shop for a Cause: Mint Boutique Trunk Show

As a new writer, I am excited to be writing for you as well as to tell ya’ll about Mint Boutique’s upcoming trunk show! Mint Boutique showcases contemporary clothing and accessories nearby in Dublin, Georgia and will be hosting a trunk show with the sisters of Alpha Gamma Delta at Mercer University.

Alpha Gam and Mint are providing us all with a perfect guilt free shopping experience. A portion of the proceeds from the event will be going towards the Alpha Gamma Delta Foundation for Diabetes Awareness and Education.

“We are participating with Alpha Gam because they are a great group of girls and would represent our image well. They would be a great supporter of our clothing brands. And they represent the Macon Community in a great way through their philanthropy,” said Hightower.

Owners Kelly Hightower and Whitney Metts go to market every few months to shop with designers and companies, which ensures us that all merchandise at the trunk show will be of the best quality and style.

The trunk show will feature clothing brands such Karlie, Angry Rabbit Denim, Tulle, Esley, Sugarhill Boutique, and Blu Pepper. Betsy Pittard Designs, Julio, and Gleeful Peacock jewelry will also be featured at the event.
With New Year’s celebrations over and Valentine’s Day quickly approaching, now is the perfect time to be looking for what to wear on the big night. The trunk show will be showing perfect dresses or tops for the occasion. You can get your perfect outfit to woo your valentine while supporting a worthwhile and deserving charity.

The prices range from 16 to 60 dollars so there is something for all budgets. “We pride ourselves on great customer service and staying up to date on current trends. We have apparel and accessories for the college student, career girl, and soccer mom,” said Hightower.

The event is being held in Penfield Hall on Mercer’s campus, which is the building between Connell Student Center and the library on Cruz Plaza. The building used to be the old bookstore. The event is not limited to members of sororities or Mercer students so anyone and everyone are invited to come. The trunk show is January 14th from 7-9 pm. Hope to see you there!
