Oh My, Etouffee!

Gross weather always has me craving warm soup, chili, or anything resembling a stew.

So when my friend Saralyn Collins posted about her shrimp etouffee with FRESH Georgia shrimp I knew I needed to head over.

Trust me, I was not wrong to do so. The etouffee was cooked to perfection and had just the right amount of creaminess.

For those not familiar with etouffee it’s both  a cajun and creole dish typically served with any kind of shellfish over rice.

I had a side order of black eyed peas and cornbread. Also, I’m not sure WHAT they put in their cornbread to make it so damn good- perfectly light and delicious.

It was super yummy and left me super happy. If they still have some next week don’t hesitate and be sure to get some!

Love to all y’all,
