Need a Great Salad In Your Life? READ THIS!

I sincerely don’t know why I struggle so hard with eating salads consistently. Perhaps it’s because I’m always on the go and for my full-time job I work for a restaurant chain- and it’s too tempting to eat other items there besides the salad.

But when I find a place that makes truly remarkable salads, it makes me giddy. And when I find one that I’m guessing NOONE in my circle knows about … I’m even more excited.

I had seen Salads 2 Go on Facebook, but since most of my time was spent on the east side of Macon for work I never made it over there. A change in my territory means I’m not also on the south side of town a lot. Even though I knew about this place, I had never gone to it and didn’t quite know where it was until I was driving up Pio Nono Avenue and stumbled across it.

Inside I went and saw that you could either choose salads combos they already created or put together your own. I put together my own.

I don’t normally get fried foods these days but figured I’d opt for the fried chicken part for my main protein, because hey- why not?! I’m glad I did because LORD I don’t know what they seasoned it with but it was lit. Love at first bite, not to sound trite. (HA! Rhyming!)

Anyways- if you don’t head down that way often I implore you to do so. It’s really not far at all from Mercer University and the downtown area. Trust me, you’ll love it.

Love to all y’all,

Molly
