Making The Big Screen Even {More} Fashionable #SFW2014

So, it’s the day before the big event of Savannah Fashion Week. There have been trunk shows all week with all kinds of fun things to see and do, but what else could get you geared up for the big day?

How about a movie? But not just any movie- one about French Vogue editor Carine Rotifeld. Savannah Magazine provides a little insight in to this movie, saying:

In the eye of the sartorial storm, we’ll prop our feet up and watch the feature film Mademoiselle C, a documentary about French Vogue editor Carine Roitfeld—one of fashion’s most influential movers.

Time Out New York said, “For fashion junkies, Mademoiselle C is like five September issues of Vogue all rolled into one.” All for just $10 ($5 if you are a student) at the door of the Jepson Center for the Arts at 6 p.m.

I mean seriously, how much better can it get than that?! I’m praying the weather holds up because I have my most amazing dress from Custard that I am planning to wear. And some of you may know I came back to Macon last night, this morning my son had a really cool event at his school and I’m so happy I got to go and take my daughter, however my sweet babies will be with their father these next two nights SO- Savannah: I am yours for these next few days. I will pretend that I live amongst you on your squares and that I ramble slowly through your Spanish Moss laden streets. And who knows? Perhaps while I am there I will meet a dapper Southern Gentleman clad in a seersucker suit who will welcome me back another time….

(Seriously, guys, seersucker suits- go get one.)

Oh yeah, but for now, tonight- I’ll see y’all at the Jepson Center for the Arts. 6 pm. I’ll be the one in the amazing snakeskin print dress. (Weather- please cooperate with me on this one.)

Love to all y’all
