Love a Good Multitasker? Check This Out!

Are you a fan of multitasking? I am. As a self-employed mom of two kids under 5, I love being able to get more than one thing checked off my ever-growing to-do list at a time. The same goes for my skincare.

I was recently introduced to the Hydrafacial at Spa Medical in Macon, and boy is it a multi-tasker. It cleanses, exfoliates, extracts, and hydrates. And Carrie Oliver, Spa Medical’s aesthetician, makes the experience really relaxing and enjoyable. It’s a win-win!

The Hydrafacial is a non-invasive, non-surgical procedure consisting of four stages done in about an hour. Carrie uses a wand, which feels sort of like a tiny vacuum, to apply four patented serums: Activ4, GlySal (a mixture of Glycolic and Salicylic Acids), Beta HD, and Antiox (Antioxidants, Peptides and Hyaluronic Acid). I was worried the facial might sting, burn or be uncomfortable, but I was pleasantly surprised by how gentle and relaxing it was. (Carrie said that a mild tingling or itching sensation might occur during the GlySal infusion, but I hardly noticed a thing!) Immediately after the facial my skin felt smoother and looked brighter. I was really impressed with the results!

Carrie recommends getting the Hydrafacial once a month to see the best results, but she also suggested alternating the Hydrafacial with Spa Medical’s Signature Therapeutic Facial Bliss treatment, which incorporates medical grade products into a relaxing spa facial.

Oh! And Spa Medical has a seasonal special to shake things up! This fall they are offering a 30-minute pumpkin peel facial followed by a pumpkin nutritional serum and moisturizer. Who doesn’t love everything pumpkin this time of year?! You could also alternate your Hydrafacial with this offer as well.

Y’all, I really enjoy my time at Spa Medical and can’t wait to get back there next month! Please check them out for all of your skincare needs!
