Flaunt: A First Friday Pop-Up Boutique

Halluva Auction

Macon Arts Alliance- First Editions

Sophia Bastian Live in Mercer Village

Today is Tuesday, and my Friday is already overbooked. Not that that surprises y’all, not one lil bit. Pretty much par for the course for me, right? This First Friday starts a lil earlier in the day than usual, with the Macon Music Ambassador’s program bringing Sophia Bastian to sing live in Mercer Village during the lunch hours. I went ahead and checked her out via YouTube and from the very first note out of her soulful throat she captured me.

I love music, so I’m super pumped to check her out during my lunch this Friday. She’ll be playing again during Second Sunday at Washington Park, so that’ll be awesome as well… but back to Friday.

Tomorrow, I’ll get to check out a preview of all of the auction items gathered for Friday night’s Halluva Auction at the Terminal Station. I already know about the ones I gathered as part of my Host Committee obligations: Knot + Designs necklace, Betsy Pittard Designs, Karats and Keepsakes, Head Over Heels… but I’m excited to see the rest!

Also happening Friday will be our very first Flaunt: A First Friday Pop-Up Boutique night. It came about during a conversation I had with one of the participants: Mint Boutique, out of Dublin. Also appearing will be Rumor Boutique and Blush Kennesaw as well as Betsy Pittard Designs! There might even be one more guest… but not confirmed as of yet!

The biggest problem I’m going to have isn’t going to be which event I go to- no no no I’m going to ALL of them. The problem is going to be which shoes I wear, so I am not dying by the end of the night.

My game plan is to wear really cute shoes but keep some fold up ones in my bag. Or flip flops. Haven’t decided but regardless I will have back ups. And maybe a really nice boy prepared with a golf cart to carry me back and forth? Yeah I think that’s a good plan.

So, will I see yall out and about running between events as well? The Macon Arts Alliance also has a fantastic show planned for that night of area printmakers! The first show of its kind. And there are always great bands and great food SO really yall, there’s no debating it- I’ll see you soon!

Love to all yall…
