Coach: Why I Fell Back in Love

I have been a long time Coach bag connoisseur, I have SO MANY of them! This is really why I had sworn to myself to not buy anymore Coach bags unless they are truly unique. For a while they have had the same look, color palette  and shapes. But- not anymore.

With this holiday season, Coach has introduced a whole new color palette as well as new purse shapes AND new jewelry. And so I am in love again. But not just any kind of love- the kind of love a married woman finds for her husband who she has been married to for years and years and years and things had gotten a little dull for a bit- but that spark is suddenly found again,

Just off the top of my head I own about… gosh at least a dozen Coach handbags. I use my pink satin wristlet for just about everything (and they go perfectly with my pink Jessica Simpson shoes), so much so that it stays in my everyday handbag- no matter how many times I may switch that one around. So of course I had decided a couple of years ago that it was time to calm down a bit and shop around.

I can’t do that anymore. My wedded husband has returned with new vigor- beautiful new colors and shapes, crossbody bags (to be addressed specifically in a later blog as I had previously hated any one I saw), pave crystal encrusted jewelry, I could seriously go on- but let me show you some specific examples from my trip to the Coach store at the Shoppes at River Crossing:

I seriously seriously LOVE these bangles- I generally like only unique jewelry (except Tiffany’s- blue box me any time!!!!!!!) but these are just simply lovely and I love the multiple colors and the pave…. ahhhhh

Every girl needs a good pair of gloves and I especially love these for the wrist details, and the scarf- gotta have a good scarf. It’s an easy way to warm up and add color to your wardrobe.

These two bags are an absolute must MUST MUST have- seriously.: the Willis and the Mini Willis. They can fit SO many items, even the Mini Willis, very easily. Let’s be honest unless you are out at the office or carting around necessary large items all you need is something a lil small. And for me, being in the marketing industry, the crossbody bag is very handy these days for taking pictures while out and about and shaking hands- but I have a whole blog about that later…

Can I take you home? Pretty please? But then there is this:

THESE ABOVE are the  pièce de résistance – this bag is so much like a Celine and yet not that I don’t feel like it’s an uncomfortable knock off-ish item. The pony haired item photographed above is a more expensive version but the all leather is just as gorge and it a lot less painful on the wallet. In love love love love love…

So look- was your honey maybe not all that excited about her gifts this year? Or maybe the dog destroyed something under the tree? Or even- *gasp* could it be- YOU FORGOT YOUR MOM’S PRESENT?! It’s ok- anything from Coach right now will get you out from under that guilt trip. Is it time to shop for Valentine’s yet? Me thinks so…

Oh but wait- I did get Coach for Christmas! It’s been a great Christmas over here- hope it has been the merriest for yall as well! Every Southern girl likes a sharp Coach bag… (and deserves it too) this watch was yet another reminder of why I have fallen back in love with my most trusted brand. Love it. Love Coach. Oh wait- so why did I fall back in love? Because, it’s just simply fabulous.
